Your task

Electrification is one of the most crucial pieces in achieving our energy and climate goals, both in Sweden and globally. At Göteborg Energi Nät AB (GENAB), we play a central role in the transition to a fossil-free society. To accelerate our development work, our department Ansluta is seeking a new senior connection engineer.

As a connection engineer, you will follow connection cases through the entire process – from the first customer contact to completion. This means that you will work with everything from technical and legal issues to advice and project planning. You will have a broad and varied role where you collaborate with electrical installers, consultants, property owners, and internal colleagues.

Your responsibilities include:

• Driving connection cases from start to finish
• Maintaining ongoing dialogue with customers, installers, and other partners
• Providing service offers and electrical technical advice
• Conducting inspections of electrical installations
• Conducting technical investigations of customer facilities
• Projecting services and finding smart, efficient solutions

Your team

You will be part of the Ansluta department, which is responsible for connecting electrical customers in Gothenburg and planning the electrical grid in both renovation and new construction projects. Here, we work closely together, follow up on customer processes, and drive development projects that shape the future electrical grid.

The unit consists of fourteen connection engineers and three administrators. Your manager, Anders Alhede, describes his leadership as follows:

Your qualifications

We believe you have:

• A degree as a civil engineer in electrical power or equivalent
• Several years of experience in handling electrical services (preferably HSP services)
• A valid driver's license (B)
• The ability to create good relationships, plan your work, and document in a structured way

As a person, you are curious, engaged, and enjoy taking initiative. You thrive in a role where you can combine technology, customer contact, and problem-solving. You appreciate working in a team and see the value in supporting each other and developing together.

Meritorious:

• Experience in project management
• Knowledge of work environment and electrical project planning
